Why do people hire Any Assembly to install their IKEA kitchens (instead of IKEA)?

Any Assembly has crews near 3 IKEA stores: IKEA Baltimore, IKEA College Park, and IKEA Woodbridge. One crew in Maryland, one in Virginia, and two in DC. Unlike IKEA, we can often offer same-day service for pickup and delivery.

We have more than 15 years of experience building kitchens and IKEA cabinets are pretty simple to work with. That’s why we incorporated them into our offering.
IKEA recommends us to their customers. We think they will still make those referrals, Taskrabbit acquisition or no.

What does Any Assembly wish their clients knew ahead of time?

Kitchen installations are unlike furniture assemblies because they require a little bit of planning and scheduling ahead of time. Also, not every kitchen is as cookie cutter as IKEA may make it seem! Additional work may need to be done – keep that in mind.

But, that would be true no matter what type of kitchen you bought.

What services does Any Assembly supply?

We can assemble any piece of furniture – IKEA or no. We also assemble exercise equipment, patio furniture, and home office furniture. We also do commercial jobs and can build office cubicles, lab furniture, you name it, we can assemble it. That’s why our name is Any Assembly.

But for kitchens, we only do cabinets. We’ll build them and hang them. We’ll pick them up from IKEA for you. If you need hood installation or other electrical work like lighting, we can refer you to other contractors we trust.
