PAX system

When we think of IKEA wardrobes, the first word that comesto mind for us is PAX — and it should for you too!

According to IKEA, there are new combinations available for the customizable IKEA PAX system.

This includes matching it with the IKEA KOMPLEMENT line of interior organizers including drawers, pull-out trays, pull-out pants hangers, pull-out storage bags, and drawers with glass fronts, among others.

Or the IKEA SMARRA box with lid; or even incorporate lighting such as the IKEA NORRFLY LED light strips with built-in LED bulbs.

Notable is that the PAX wardrobe system and KOMPLEMENT both come with a free 10-year warranty.

That said, there’s some new accessories available, such as the new KOMPLEMENT pull-out pants hanger (Page 12-13) and the new IKEA VINNÅSET knobs (page 10-11).

While KOMPLEMENT drawers with framed front made it to the IKEA Website a while back, these are fairly new, and can enhance the overall look of your wardrobe.

These offerings are in addition to IKEA’s already existing line of organizers, such as the IKEA KOMPLEMENT pull-out shoe shelf; the KOMPLEMENT pull-out multi-use hanger; and the KOMPLEMENT pull-out clothes rail.

There are also stylish IKEA door style options that match with PAX, such as the IKEA VIKEDAL with hinges and mirrored glass; and the IKEA BERGSBO door with hinges in black-brown.

Keep in mind though that IKEA offers other wardrobe systems as well.

This includes the flexible IKEA ELVARLI system (page 28 – 29); the IKEA JONAXEL integrated system of rods, shelves, baskets and hampers (page 30 – 31), and the IKEA BOAXEL open storage system (page 32 – 33).

Another exciting development from the 2021 IKEA Wardrobe brochure is the announcement of the new AURDAL wardrobe combination (pages 4 – 9).

The AURDAL system — which comes in dark gray and white — replaces the previous IKEA ALGOT system and offers enhanced storage options that can be customized based on your needs, including drawers, shelves, rods, and more.

This might include the IKEA STUK storage case or the IKEA HUGAD/RAFFIG/BETYDLIG curtain rod with finials, which can be extended and adjusted to fit almost any design layout.
